Declarations #1: TEN BEGINNING DECLARATIONS

Declarations #1 The following ten basic declarations are foundational to the building of your faith. They will increase expectancy of God’s goodness; and will thus increase the manifestation of that goodness in your life. Say these (and the other declarations lists) every day for a month and see what happens to your life (Romans 4:17; Romans 10:9,10).

Declarations #2: DECLARATIONS TO IGNITE FAITH

Remember this: Faith is the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). God’s promises, not our circumstances, are our “evidence” for what is really true. We don’t deny negative facts in our lives, but we choose to focus on the higher reality of God’s truth. Faith indeed comes by hearing (Romans 10:17); therefore, we choose to speak these powerful truths to build our own faith (by doing so, we are believing that our experience will catch up to our beliefs as Romans 12:2 teaches us).

Hello Fellow Igniters of Hope,

I have just finished a new book called Let's Just Laugh at That.  I wrote it with my current interns at Bethel Church's Supernatural School of Ministry (Phil Drysdale, Kim McGan, Chuck Maher and Jared Neusch).  The book should be available in early May.

We are at the Open Heavens conference at Bethel Church, Redding this week and then we travel to Texas for a great week of ministry. My new book, DIVINE STRATEGIES FOR INCREASE, will be available this month. Check out the Devotional section of our blog for samples from this book (and from my other books). Be Blessed!

Soaking Prayer

tags:

I am passionate about encouraging people to add "soaking prayer" to their pursuit of God.

Soaking prayer adds a new dimension to our relationship with the Father. It is not about talking to Him, but about listening, and experiencing Him. Soaking prayer is based on a belief system that God is supernatural and wishes to relate to His children in supernatural ways. Soaking prayer is about receiving supernatural impartation, revelation and visions.

Fear: Enemy of Our Faith

tags:

About ten years ago, God challenged me while I was praying for a family member. He said, "Wendy, you are not praying the prayer of faith, you are praying a prayer of fear." He began to show me that my "problem was not the problem", my fear was the bigger issue. He revealed to me that I could not defeat anything as long as I prayed from under a spirit of fear.

Trusting People

tags:

Trust is sometimes a hard thing for people (perhaps because they don't understand what it means to trust someone). It doesn't mean I trust you to never hurt me or fail me; but it means that when you hurt me or fail me, I will trust that you love me despite the imperfections and weaknesses that I see. I will trust in your motives, I will trust that you are trying to improve and grow in areas. I will trust that you are sorry for hurting me.
